Although the Mennonite Historical Society is not officially connected with the Mennonite Historical Library and the Mennonite Church Archives on the campus of Goshen College, it cooperates with these organizations in promoting interest and research in Mennonite history. The Society in Goshen also notes the development of the Global Anabaptist-Mennonite Encyclopedia Online (GAMEO), which at last report contains nearly 9000 articles on Mennonite history, theology, biography, institutions, and congregations.
